Frequently Asked Questions

  • No, due to the continuous restrictions of typical insurance plans that dictate patient's care, declining reimbursement rates, and high admin costs, Wild Root is currently cash pay at this time.

This allows for personalized, one-on-one care and hour long sessions that can truly be guided by a Doctor of Physical Therapy who knows you as a person. If you'd like, we are more than willing to provide a superbill for you to submit for reimbursement to your insurance if you have out of network benefits. We do accept HSA/FSA.

  • No referral is needed. Colorado is a direct access state, meaning that physical therapy services can be provided without prior PCP referral.

  • We go beyond the traditional physical therapy approach by integrating kinetic chain training. We treat the body as an integrated system which considers that the body moves via interconnected joints, muscle facilitation, and the nervous system rather than individual parts. This can build more efficient, resilient movement patterns. As you progress, we bridge the gap between rehab and performance, giving you the opportunity to guide you into personal training so you can continue to build strength, prevent further injuries, and stay active long after discharge.

  • Your first session will include a comprehensive evaluation of your past medical history, movement, strength, mobility, with special testing for your therapist to determine a root cause of your symptoms. We will discuss your goals and current lifestyle factors that are contributors to pain in order to develop an individualized plan of care.

At your first visit, please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to check in and fill out any necessary paperwork. Please bring a valid ID and wear clothing that will allow you to move freely and give access to the area being treated (e.g., shorts, tank top, athletic wear).

  • You will be asked to complete a questionnaire that strives to get you in a self-reflective and realistic mindset about your goals, priorities and commitment. Your first session will be an hour long, comprised of taking baseline metrics and performing a functional movement assessment. After the asessment, frequency and duration of sessions will be determined.
