Physical Therapy

Using a unique-to-you approach combining strength, balance and mobility, Wild Root's coaching keeps you accountable while accommodating your specific goals.

This coaching option offers the best opportunity for dynamic and real-time engagement. This in-person, pay as you go option provides flexibility for Jen to tailor each session to your needs each the time, while keeping overarching goals in perspective. Say we are working on strength and endurance for long hiking trips in the summer, but you come in and your low back is bothering you today? No problem - Jen can focus that day on pain management/relief so you can restore function and keep moving on track towards your goals! This is true for back pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, headaches, malaise and more!

Following your initial functional assessment, you and Jen will discuss and determine realistic goals. Frequency and duration of package recommendations will be made based on the initial assessment.

Dry Needling Sessions
This targeted 30-minute session is designed to reduce muscle tension, improve neuromuscular function, and accelerate recovery. Dry needling is a skilled technique that uses thin, sterile needles to target myofascial trigger points, or areas within muscle tissue that can contribute to pain, stiffness, and decreased performance. By directly addressing these areas, dry needling helps restore normal muscle tone through a neurophysiological "reset", improve circulation, and reduce pain. Electrical stimulation may be applied through the needles to further enhance the therapeutic effect. These controlled pulses help modulate pain, improve muscle activation, and promote a more efficient reset of dysfunctional tissue.
